Old Town Fort Collins is such a special place, and it becomes extra magical in the winter when it’s lit up with holiday lights! This year was the first year that I started doing sessions there with the lights, and now it just might be my new favorite thing. I like that we can start out with some more typical photos around Old Town that aren’t so Christmas themed, and then when the lights come on, we can get some really fun and unique photos. I loved this family’s choice of outdoor winter gear for their photos- the kids were warm and happy, and the colorful coats and hats were perfect for this type of session. I decided to bring some Christmas books along because I know that reading together is something this family really loves to do together, and those book photos ended up being some of my favorites from the session!
