Between the fun family and the beautiful light and location, I am in love with just about every photo from this session! I took photos for them around the same time last year, so it was fun to spend some time with their daughter and see how much she’s changed in a year!
I like to end family sessions with some sort of activity that gets everyone interacting and having fun, so we decorated a “Christmas tree” in mid-October. It may not have been the most seasonally appropriate thing to do, but I knew they’d be up for it and I knew it would make the session more fun for their little girl, who asked me for more ornaments once they were all on the tree. I think the activity gave us some pretty gorgeous photos too!
I kept taking photos right up until the sun set, and the light was perfect! With this being the second of two back-to-back sessions, I was running out of space on my memory card by the end of this session, and actually had to delete a few photos to make a little more space. This last photo was the very last shot I took that evening, and I’m so glad I made room for it. 🙂Thanks, Mills family, for choosing me as your family photographer!
