The first half of my photography year usually ends up being all about babies, filled with newborn sessions and one-year milestone sessions. Most people don’t think about doing outdoor photoshoots in the winter unless they’re marking a special occasion (like a first birthday), but our winters here are so mild that we can often get some beautiful, warm days for photoshoots as long as we’re flexible on the date. We really lucked out for this guy’s one year cake smash session with an unseasonably warm day! He is just so cute and he really enjoyed his cake!
