I was excited when the Wolters told me they wanted to do their family photos at this dock by Windsor Lake this year, because I think it’s such a pretty location that I haven’t used as often as I’d like! We started out with some family photos then moved on to a cake smash for their one year old birthday boy! I did a cake smash session for his older sister a few years ago and she was so happy and LOVED her cake. I warned mom and dad that not all babies really enjoy the cake smash, but we had nothing to worry about because little brother was a big fan of the cake too! I don’t think big sister remembers her cake smash, but she was more than happy to join in at the end to help her brother eat his cake. It was cold and windy, but how can you not be happy when you get to share a giant cake with your best buddy? Here are a few of my favorites from the Wolter family session!
