This was a different sort of session for me and I loved it! This couple is hoping to adopt and they needed some updated professional photos for their adoption portfolio. They chose to do the session at their Fort Collins, Colorado home and I think it was a great choice! They have a beautiful happy home and yard and it’s easy to imagine a baby playing on the floor with a dog or a toddler wandering through the garden beds finding strawberries to eat or feed to the chickens. One of my own kids is adopted, so I’ve been through this process of making a portfolio book, then putting it out into the world and hoping to be chosen. It’s a hard time of waiting, but it’s totally worth it! It was a pleasure to meet this couple and my heart is now invested in their adoption journey!
