I’ve always done newborn photo sessions in client’s homes, but I’m starting to see a real benefit to doing 6 month or 1 year milestone sessions in baby’s home too. It’s pretty easy for me to find a space in any home that I can turn into a little baby sized studio space with my studio light and a few props. In the winter months, it’s definitely nice to have the option to be indoors with a little one. But the biggest benefit is that most babies are going to be more smiley, more “themselves” in their own home! This little guy was all smiles for his 6 month photo session in his Fort Collins home and I love the photos that came out of his session!
