While there are plenty of advantages to taking outdoor family photos on cloudy days, I always prefer beautiful, golden sunlight and I’ve missed it with all of the rain and clouds we had this summer! I was excited to do a session in my favorite location, in my favorite light, with some of my favorite returning clients. When this mama first contacted me for newborn photo several months before she was due to have her third boy a couple of years ago, I had no idea that my husband and I would be adopting a baby boy that would be born just a day after her baby! It’s been fun to see the similarities between my boy and theirs as I’ve done their photos over the last couple of years (this time- both love to run! 🙂 ) A session with three young boys is always a little crazy, but I love the photos we got and the way they capture the personalities of each kid. Grandma was also able to join us for a few photos this year, which was so special!
